Delegation from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Visits Peking University Third Hospital

On December 22, 2024, Professor Wong Wing-tak, Executive Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, along with a delegation of five, visited Peking University Third Hospital. The delegation toured the Central Laboratory and the General Surgery Ward of the hospital. During the discussion session, both sides introduced the basic information and disciplinary strengths of their respective institutions. President Fu Wei of Peking University Third Hospital and Professor Wong Wing-tak of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University both expressed their willingness to pursue deeper collaboration in the fields of medical-engineering integration and technological innovation. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the specific directions and cooperation models for interdisciplinary collaboration between medicine and engineering.
