Peking University Third Hospital Holds Launch Conference for Beijing Key Laboratory for Clinical Evaluation of Innovative Drugs and Devices in Cardio-Renal Metabolism and Immuno-Inflammation

        On the afternoon of May 28, 2025, the Launch Conference and First Academic Committee Meeting of the Beijing Key Laboratory for Clinical Evaluation of Innovative Drugs and Devices in Cardio-Renal Metabolism and Immuno-Inflammation were held at Peking University Third Hospital. The laboratory is supported by Peking University Third Hospital as the primary unit, in collaboration with Peking University Institute of Advanced Clinical Medicine / School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing, and Xinshengchao Innovation Center.

        Cheng Wanhui, Director of Industry Division III, Zhongguancun Science Park Administrative Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Guo Lantao, Director of the Medical and Health Technology Division, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, and Tang Yida, Vice President of Peking University Third Hospital and Director of the Beijing Key Laboratory for Clinical Evaluation of Innovative Drugs and Devices in Cardio-Renal Metabolism and Immuno-Inflammation, jointly unveiled the laboratory. Academician Qiao Jie, Executive Vice President of Peking University and Director of Peking University Health Science Center, served as the Chairman of the First Academic Committee and presided over its first meeting, emphasizing the need to deeply integrate basic scientific research, innovative evaluation technologies, and clinical medical research to build a high-level R&D platform with international influence. Vice President Tang Yida introduced the laboratory's development plan; Huang Song, Deputy Director of National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing, and Ma Li, General Manager of Xinshengchao Innovation Center, introduced the laboratory's development tasks from the perspective of the co-building units. Relevant staff reported on the laboratory's research progress. Participating experts conducted in-depth discussions on the laboratory's development plan.
