        Peking University Third Hospital collaborated with Higher Education Press to launch Spine Research, China's first English academic journal in the field of spine surgery, and held its launch conference in Beijing on July 27, 2025. At the conference, Fu Wei, President of Peking University Third Hospital, pointed out that the journal fills the gap in professional English journals in domestic spine surgery. Yang Huabing, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Higher Education Press, emphasized the strategic significance of launching the journal. Li Weishi, Editor-in-Chief of the journal and Director of the Department of Orthopedics, Peking University Third Hospital, stated that the journal aims to become a professional academic high ground, attracting excellent domestic research achievements to be published in local journals, and leading the way in improving the diagnosis and treatment level of spinal surgery internationally. The journal specially invited authoritative experts in the spinal field from both international and domestic areas to serve as members of the editorial board.
