Peking University Third Hospital Orthopedics Team Participates in Global Spine Congress 2026

Recently, the Global Spine Congress (GSC 2026), hosted by AO Spine, a renowned international academic organization in the field of spine surgery worldwide, was held in Istanbul, Turkey. Li Weishi, former seventh Chairperson of AO Spine China and Director of the Department of Orthopedics at Peking University Third Hospital, as a core driving force of the AO Spine China region, led a delegation to the congress together with several leading figures of AO Spine China.

At this congress, the orthopedics team of Peking University Third Hospital delivered an outstanding performance. Li Weishi, Liu Zhongjun, Sun Yu, Zhou Feifei, Wei Feng, Hu Panpan and other experts systematically presented the team's recent research achievements through keynote presentations and academic discussions. Meanwhile, young core members and graduate students including Wang Longjie, Zhou Siyu, Li Zhuofu, Xu Fei, Li Junyu, Han Gengyu, Chen Rui, Chen Hongyu and Zheng Hanze also actively spoke at various sessions. During the congress, the orthopedics team of Peking University Third Hospital held in-depth exchanges with a number of long-term international collaborators on clinical research, education and training, and future cooperation.
