Five projects from Peking University Third Hospital approved for the Major Difficult and Intractable Diseases Clinical Collaboration Project between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine

Recently, the list of projects for the National Major Difficult and Intractable Diseases Clinical Collaboration between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine was released. Four projects from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Department of Orthopedics, Department of Sports Medicine, and Department of Reproductive Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital were approved as newly selected Major Difficult and Intractable Diseases Clinical Collaboration Projects between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, and one project was approved for enhanced construction under the Major Difficult and Intractable Diseases Clinical Collaboration Projects between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.


The newly selected Major Difficult and Intractable Diseases Clinical Collaboration Projects between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine are: ovulatory dysfunction-induced infertility, jointly submitted by the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Department of Reproductive Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital; spinal tumors, jointly submitted by the Department of Orthopedics and the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital; shoulder impingement syndrome, jointly submitted by the Department of Sports Medicine of Wangjing Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and the Department of Sports Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital; and threatened miscarriage, jointly submitted by the Department of Gynecology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and the Department of Reproductive Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital. The enhanced construction Major Difficult and Intractable Diseases Clinical Collaboration Project is recurrent miscarriage, jointly submitted by the Department of Gynecology of Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Department of Reproductive Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital.
