Signing Ceremony Held Between Peking University Third Hospital and the Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Judo Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China

On December 30, 2024, Peking University Third Hospital and the Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Judo Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China signed a framework cooperation agreement. The two sides will continue to strengthen their collaboration in preparation for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Zhang Tao, Deputy Director of the Science and Education Department of the General Administration of Sport of China, Liu Chengliang, Director of the Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Judo Sports Management Center, and Zhang Xia, Director of the Institute of Sports Medicine of the General Administration of Sport of China, attended the event. They fully appreciated the contributions of Peking University Third Hospital, especially its Department of Sports Medicine, to previous Olympic Games and national team services. They expressed the hope for continued cooperation in the new cycle of Olympic Games to achieve further national success.

In his speech, President Fu Wei of Peking University Third Hospital stated that the hospital would continue to support the development of sports medicine, encouraging the discipline to play a leading role in the industry and to contribute more wisdom and strength to the advancement of China's sports medicine field. Wang Jianquan, Director of the Department of Sports Medicine at Peking University Third Hospital and Medical Expert for the Chinese Olympic Delegation at the Paris Olympic Games, introduced the medical services provided to the national team and discussed the special green channels for athletes' medical care, as well as the multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) dedicated to athlete medical security at the hospital.
