        On March 27, 2025, the "Top Ten Scientific Advances in China 2024" were officially announced at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference. The research achievement titled "Multidimensional Impact of Extra X Chromosome on Male Germ Cell Development" by the team of Academician Qiao Jie, Yuan Peng, Yan Liying, and Wei Yuan from Peking University Third Hospital was selected for the list. This study not only provides critical insights into the pathogenesis of infertility in patients with Klinefelter syndrome (47,XXY), but also offers a significant theoretical foundation for early intervention. It is worth noting that this marks the third time that Peking University Third Hospital has received this prestigious honor, following its previous recognitions in 2014 and 2015.
