        On April 17, 2025, the unveiling ceremony of the Peking University Third Hospital - The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Medical-Engineering Collaborative Innovation Research Laboratory (Peking University Third Hospital) was held in Beijing. Professor Fu Wei, President of Peking University Third Hospital, and Professor Huang Yongde, Executive Vice President and Provost of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, jointly unveiled the "Medical-Engineering Collaborative Innovation Research Laboratory for Early Diagnosis and Minimally Invasive Treatment of Tumors". Both parties released and signed the three-year scientific and technological research plan for the joint laboratory. Wen Xiaozhong, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Yuan Chunhui, Director of the Department of General Surgery, Peking University Third Hospital, and others attended the unveiling ceremony. The delegation conducted innovative exchanges with the Department of General Surgery, Peking University Third Hospital.
