Professor Tang Yida's Team from Peking University Third Hospital Publishes New Research Findings on the Mechanism of Hypothyroidism Leading to Heart Failure in Circulation

        On May 13, 2025, Professor Tang Yida's team from the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, published a paper in Circulation titled: "Dusp14-Mediated Dephosphorylation of MLKL Protects Against Cardiomyocyte Necroptosis in Hypothyroidism-Induced Heart Failure", revealing that Dusp14 inhibits cardiomyocyte necroptosis by dephosphorylating MLKL, playing a crucial protective role in hypothyroidism-induced heart failure and providing a new direction for the treatment of heart failure caused by hypothyroidism. Tang Yida is the corresponding author of the paper, and Dr. Zheng Yitian from Peking University Third Hospital is the first author of the paper.
