An Yang's Research Team from the Department of Plastic Surgery, Peking University Third Hospital, Published Findings, Achieving a New Breakthrough in the Functional Repair of Large-Volume Muscle Defects

        Recently, An Yang's team from the Department of Plastic Surgery, Peking University Third Hospital, published a research paper in the journal Bioactive Materials titled: "Bifunctional adCEM bioscaffold with STIM1-ASCs and IGF-2 promotes functional masseter VML repair via  myogenesis and fibrosis suppression."

        This research provides a completely new strategy for the precise regeneration of muscle injuries such as cleft lip and palate and craniomaxillofacial defects.

         Associate Professor An Yang is the corresponding author, and Postdoctoral Fellow Liang Wei, Postdoctoral Fellow Jin Mengying, and Master's Candidate Ao Rigele are the co-first authors.
