The Secretary-General of the European Association of Urology Visited Peking University Third Hospital

           On September 15, 2025, Professor Arnulf Stenzl, a renowned German urologist and Secretary-General of the European Association of Urology (EAU), visited the Department of Urology at Peking University Third Hospital.

      Professor Zhang Shudong, Director of the Department, accompanied him on the tour, introducing the department's development and achievements in robotic surgery and urinary tract tumors, which were highly praised by Professor Stenzl. Professor Stenzl gave an academic report titled "Research Progress and Guideline Interpretation for First-line Treatment of Locally Advanced/Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma". Both parties engaged in in-depth discussion regarding a complex prostate cancer case reported by Chief Physician Zhang Fan. Both sides expressed their expectation to strengthen cooperation in multiple aspects in the future.
