        On the afternoon of November 20, 2025, the "National Medical Insurance Imaging Cloud Inter-Provincial Retrieval Launch Ceremony," hosted by the National Healthcare Security Administration and organized by Peking University Third Hospital, was held at Peking University Third Hospital. Wang Wenjun, Deputy Director of the National Healthcare Security Administration, introduced that starting from 2024, the NHSA will steadily advance the construction and retrieval sharing of the Medical Insurance Imaging Cloud relying on the unified national medical insurance information platform. Academician Qiao Jie, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Peking University, Executive Vice President, and Dean of Peking University Health Science Center, stated that Peking University Health Science Center will fully cooperate to advance the construction of the Imaging Cloud. Fu Wei, President of Peking University Third Hospital, introduced that the hospital has made innovations in technology, process, and system, has completed platform docking with five provinces and five cities, achieved instant cross-regional image retrieval, and designed a dual-track authorization model for doctors and patients. The next step will be to promote functional applications and strictly safeguard data security.

            Zhang Ke, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director of the National Healthcare Security Administration, He Guangcai, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Peking University, and other leaders jointly launched the National Medical Insurance Imaging Cloud Inter-Provincial Retrieval. At the meeting site, doctors retrieved the cloud imaging data of insured personnel from five locations: Sanming in Fujian, Xiongan in Hebei, Yan'an in Shaanxi, Zhengzhou in Henan, and Guyuan in Ningxia. The operation was smooth and the response was fast, marking the system's entry into the practical application stage. The live video connection screen showed that hospitals in Shanghai, Guangdong, Sichuan, Shaanxi and other places have also achieved cross-regional retrieval. This marks the Medical Insurance Imaging Cloud Inter-Provincial Retrieval entering the stage of large-scale promotion.
