The Sports Medicine Team of Peking University Third Hospital Participated in the Asian Federation of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Meeting

        From October 30 to November 1, 2025, the 10th Annual Meeting of the Asian Federation of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association were held in Singapore. Multiple personnel from the Foot and Ankle Surgery, Department of Sports Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, attended the conference.

        In his report, Jiao Chen, Director of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Department of Sports Medicine, introduced the results of minimally invasive reconstruction technique for the interosseous talocalcaneal ligament (ITCL) under full arthroscopy for treating subtalar joint instability. Associate Director Guo Qinwei gave reports on "Application of Autologous Osteochondral Grafting in Large-area Osteochondral Lesions of the Talus" and "The Role of Anatomic Reconstruction of the Lateral Ankle Ligament for Chronic Ankle Instability." In addition, Ph.D. Candidates Xiong Shikai, Yang Shuai, and Hu Fengyi, supervised by Professor Guo Qinwei, also delivered reports, and Yang Shuai's research won the "Best Clinical Research Paper" award at the conference.
