Peking University Third Hospital Holds International Academic Exchange on Central Asian Orthopedic Surgery and Intelligent Rehabilitation and Donates Shukangshi Devices

From April 20 to 21, a delegation of orthopedic experts and scholars from 15 medical institutions and medical schools in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan visited the hospital's main campus and Chongli Campus for academic exchange. The delegation was led by Dzhumabekov Sabyrbek Artisbekovich, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Director of the National Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. Relevant leaders from Zhangjiakou City and Chongli District, Jin Changxiao, Party Secretary of Peking University Third Hospital, Shen Ning, Vice President of the hospital, Jiang Xue, Deputy Party Secretary, and representatives from Beijing Yiyue Technology Co., Ltd. attended the event.

At the donation ceremony, Peking University Third Hospital donated Shukangshi intelligent rehabilitation devices to Kyrgyzstan. Jin Changxiao noted that the donation was a concrete action by the hospital to put into practice the concept of a Belt and Road health community, and an important step in deepening practical cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan and between China and Uzbekistan in medical and health fields. Shen Ning, Xu Yan, Deputy Director of the Department of Sports Medicine, Sun Chuiguo, Deputy Director of the Department of Orthopedics, and He Peixin, Deputy Director of the Office of Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation, respectively introduced the hospital, the Department of Sports Medicine, the Department of Orthopedics, and the research and development process of Shukangshi. Dzhumabekov thanked China for its support and assistance to Kyrgyzstan's medical sector, and said that Kyrgyzstan would make full use of the advanced Shukangshi equipment to improve its rehabilitation medical services. Norov Abdurakhmon Ubaydulloevich, Deputy Director of the National Center for Spinal Neurosurgery of Uzbekistan, expressed expectations for future cooperation.
