Recently, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park announced the list of individuals selected for the 2026 Beijing High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Support Plan, with a total of 133 selected for the Beijing Top-Notch Leading Talent Gathering and Cultivation Program (the “Gaoju Program”) and 205 selected for the Beijing Nova Program. Five individuals from Peking University Third Hospital were selected.

Among them, Ma Qingbian, Vice President of Peking University Third Hospital and Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine, and An Yang, Deputy Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery, were selected as Gaoju Program Leading Talents in Scientific and Technological Innovation; Jiang Xue, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Office of Science and Technology Achievement Transformation, was selected as a Gaoju Program Leading Talent in Science and Technology Services; and Wang Yuexin, attending physician in the Department of Ophthalmology, and Zhang Junxia, associate research fellow in the Department of Cardiology, were selected for the Beijing Nova Program. Since 2025, six individuals from the hospital have been selected for the Gaoju Program. Since 2005, a cumulative total of 26 individuals from the hospital have been selected for the Beijing Nova Program.
