On August 14, 2026, the uRT-linac 506c Workshop was held at Peking University Third Hospital. Nearly 20 radiotherapy experts and hospital administrators from Turkey, Vietnam, France, Egypt, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region gained a comprehensive understanding of China's clinical practice and technological innovation in oncology radiotherapy through on-site visits, clinical workflow demonstrations, and academic discussions.

In recent years, innovative achievements in domestically produced high-end medical equipment have accelerated their implementation. The Department of Radiation Oncology at Peking University Third Hospital has taken the lead in establishing a domestically developed precision radiotherapy system that integrates online adaptive radiotherapy, emergency radiotherapy, and one-stop intelligent interventional radiotherapy.

Jin Changxiao, Party Secretary of Peking University Third Hospital, and Wang Junjie, Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology, stated at the symposium that the research and development of Chinese radiotherapy equipment has reached an internationally advanced level, and expressed hope to work with colleagues from all sides to jointly advance technological innovation and benefit more patients. Professor Ugur Selek of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Koç University School of Medicine, Istanbul, stated that integrating high-quality imaging, online adaptive planning, and treatment execution into a unified workflow represents the future direction of radiotherapy.
