Peking University Third Hospital deploys DeepSeek multi-modal system to support comprehensive medical and hospital applications

Recently, the domestically leading AI model, DeepSeek, has been officially implemented at Peking University Third Hospital. The successful integration of the full-scale version and the distilled version of the DeepSeek-R1 model with the hospital's medical business system has been completed, along with the deployment of a multi-modal version to support hospital-wide applications. Based on the DeepSeek model, the hospital plans to further expand its functionality and solidly advance the application of artificial intelligence technology in diverse scenarios across the "triad" of healthcare, services, and management in the smart hospital setting.
