Peking University Third Hospital Holds Launch Conference for Beijing Key Laboratory for Medical-X Collaborative Innovation in Gastrointestinal Tumors

        On the afternoon of April 18, 2025, the Launch Conference and First Academic Committee Meeting of the Beijing Key Laboratory for Medical-X Collaborative Innovation in Gastrointestinal Tumors were held at Peking University Third Hospital. The laboratory is led by Peking University Third Hospital as the primary unit, in collaboration with Beihang University and Beijing Institute of Technology. Zhang Xu, Director of the Clinical Department of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Administrative Committee; Wang Cunyu, Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Member of the National Academy of Medicine of the United States, and President of the Institute of Advanced Clinical Medicine; and Fu Wei, President of Peking University Third Hospital and Director of the Cancer Center, attended and delivered speeches. Wang Cunyu and Fu Wei jointly unveiled the laboratory. Project leaders of the laboratory reported on their work covering various aspects of "prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation" of gastrointestinal tumors.
