The Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, Participated in the 35th European Respiratory Society Annual Congress

        From September 27 to October 1, 2025, the 35th European Respiratory Society (ERS) Annual Congress was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

        During the congress, Sun Yongchang, Director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, delivered an academic report titled "Tuberculosis-related COPD: Consensus and Unmet Needs" during the "China Day" session, and presented a real-world study focusing on the disease burden of severe COPD that is poorly controlled by triple therapy in the form of a poster.

        Professor Chang Chun's team had multiple research updates presented at the conference. Ph.D. Candidate Liu Huan gave two oral reports on the pathogenesis of neutrophilic asthma, in addition to a poster presentation. Furthermore, two studies on asthma biologics, co-authored by Professor Chang Chun and Pharmacist Xu Xiaohan from the Department of Pharmacy, were also presented as posters.
