The Department of Sports Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, Participated in the 17th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society for Hip Preservation

        From October 2 to 4, 2025, the 17th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society for Hip Preservation (ISHA) was held in Fukuoka, Japan. Professor Xu Yan, Associate Director of the Department of Sports Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, led a team of 5 members to attend the conference, where they completed 8 conference presentations and 1 poster presentation.

        Professor Xu Yan, as a member of the Asian Hip Arthroscopy Association Committee, actively participated in the organization and management of the association. He reported on the "Peking University Third Hospital Protocol for Post-operative Rehabilitation of Hip Rotator Cuff" and shared the team's research findings on the efficacy and clinical outcomes of cartilage tacks for treating acetabular cartilage delamination. Dr. Gao Guanying presented clinical research on MRI diagnosis of acetabular cartilage delamination, as well as the clinical effect of the Capsular Plication and Tightening technique in patients with hip impingement syndrome combined with borderline hip dysplasia. Ph.D. Candidate Du Cancan reported on the efficacy of PGLA cartilage tacks for treating acetabular cartilage delamination. Postdoctoral Fellow Zhu Yichuan discussed the effect of joint effusion on post-operative recovery in patients with hip impingement syndrome. Master's Candidate Hao Yu'ang analyzed abnormal gait features in patients with borderline dysplasia combined with hip impingement.
