Wang Jianquan's Team from the Department of Sports Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, Published Findings, Supporting Tendon Tissue Regeneration

        On October 11, 2025, the team of Wang Jianquan / Huang Hongjie / Cheng Jin from the Department of Sports Medicine, Peking University Third Hospital, published a research paper in the international authoritative journal Materials Today Bio titled: "Injectable composite microspheres/hydrogel membranes for Achilles tendon regeneration".

        The study innovatively developed an injectable composite microsphere/hydrogel membrane, providing a completely new biomaterial strategy for the high-quality repair of Achilles tendon rupture.

        Professor Wang Jianquan, Associate Research Fellow Huang Hongjie, and Associate Research Fellow Cheng Jin from the Department of Sports Medicine are the co-corresponding authors. Ph.D. Candidates Yang Meng and Zhang Chong are the co-first authors.
