On December 12, 2025, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park announced the list of candidates for the 2025 Beijing High-Level Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Support Program "Capital High-end Leading Talent Gathering and Cultivation Project." Ultimately, Yang Liping from the Department of Ophthalmology, Zu Lingyun from the Department of Cardiology, and Yan Jie from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Peking University Third Hospital were selected.

"The Capital High-end Leading Talent Gathering and Cultivation Project" is a key measure implemented by Beijing to build a high-level talent highland and an international center for scientific and technological innovation. It aims to promote the transformation and landing of frontier leading technologies, disruptive technological innovations, and major scientific and technological achievements in Beijing, accelerate the formation of new quality productive forces, and achieve high-quality development of the capital.
